Retrieved from the public OpenStreetMap API on 2026-10-19. Each feature retains its exact OSM type, ID, version, timestamp and canonical source URL. This is a community mapped outline, not an official municipal or cadastral boundary. The complete derived database is basr-places.geojson; this data layer remains separate from the older GPL Buraydah dataset.

18 closed polygons: Al Basr, Al Mulayda, Al Ghammas, Dhiras north/south, Qassim University campus, Khabb Rawdhan, Khabb Al Huluwah, Al Du'aysah, Al Mansi, Al Bustan, Al Jinadriyyah, As Suwaylimiyyah, Ghirnatah, At Tawasul, As Sa'adah, Al Budour and Ash Shafaq. No polygon was invented, buffered or inferred from a place-center node.

Six named point references (Khabb Al Kifah, Khabb As Saqarat, An Nakhlat, Al Muwayh, Al 'Aqul, Adh Dhakhirah) have no imported polygon. They can only produce a nearby-place hint within 500m, explicitly prefixed with "قرب" and an approximate straight-line distance. They never establish district membership or delivery eligibility.

Coordinates: WGS84 GeoJSON longitude, latitude. Polygon geometry is preserved from the source way-node sequence. Features use negative OSM IDs to avoid collision with the older national-address IDs. Selection/reformatting performed 2026-10-19; no modifications uploaded to OSM.

Reproduction: scripts/import-basr-osm.py accepts the original bounded API extracts and creates this file; the exported feature source URLs allow retrieval and review of each exact feature independently. Runtime never sends customer coordinates to OSM or a paid geocoder.
